Hatfield Swim Club - Entry Form

Welcome to this years clubs championships. Again set as an ASA ‘level 4 licensed meet’ which means that all times recorded at these championships will be sent to the national rankings database. Again the 100m individual medley is for the 10 years & under and the 200m individual medley for the 11 years & over. We have combined these and all the other 200m events for both boys and girls. The idea being that there will be more competition for swimmers within these events and should make the meet run quicker without too many empty lanes in the first heats.

And this year the club championships will NOT be seeded prior to swimmers turning up on the day nor will you be required to sign in but you are expected to let us know by 4.45pm on the day of the swim if you are not swimming. So if you enter and decide to pull out of a race contact Mark Hisgrove on 07850-726245 (leave a message) or e-mail hatfield.sc@btinternet.com as soon as possible and by 4.45pm on the day of the swim. (e-mail latest 12pm)

As with all our meets, help will be required either, officiating, timekeeping, swimmers marshals, drinks etc. So don’t be shy come and try something different like timekeeping, its easy, really. So please speak to Barbara Scorer or anyone on the club desk and offer your help.

Entries are £1.00 per swim.
For on-line entries please hand your money in a named envelope with the amount on to the club desk on a club night.
Items marked with an asterisk * must be completed.
Entry times can be either e.g. 1.24.32 or 12432.

RULES

· All events are Heat Declared Winner

· The ‘one start rule’ applies to all events

· All heats will be spearheaded.

· All 200m events (and 100m IM) will be swum as MIXED boys & girls

· Age Groups 10 & under, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15+.

· Age as at the 30th September 2007.

· Closing date 8:30pm Monday 17th September 2007

· Please enter a time or you will be put in the first heat.

(if you are not sure, speak to your coach)

· Entries are £1.00 an event.

· Warm-ups 5:00pm Start between 5:30 - 5.45pm.

· You must have been a fully paid up member of Hatfield Swim Club from 1st September 2007(if not you can only swim a time trial and will not be eligible for awards)

· Please hand your entries in to your coach or anyone on the club desk ASAP
