Opened in April 2000, The Venue in Borehamwood was the second 8 lane 25m pool in Hertfordshire (the first being Hitchin) but with decent spectator seating for 244. We held our very first Designated meet here in May 2000. This was the first of 5 held here untill we moved to the Hertfordshire Sports Village in September 2003. We still swim here with Hertfordshire ASA holding the majority of their County Championships at the pool. It has Omega ARES21 electronic timing with a display for each lane.
